How to get an internship with a “Big Four” accounting firm? Any recruiters in South Florida?

Question by WhoRu: How to get an internship with a “Big Four” accounting firm? Any recruiters in South Florida?
I am a Senior, majoring in Accounting and I will be graduating next Summer. My current GPA is 3.721. I currently work with a CPA and have been doing accounting work since high school (roughly at 17 years old). I am very interested in getting an internship with one of the big four accounting firms but I do not know any recruiters. It seems like the more you network, the better are your chances of finding a recruiter. Does anyone know of any recruiters I can contact? Thank you.

If you are in college and pursuing your accounting degree, then I would talk to your advisor and professors. Typically they will have recruiters come in or a there should be a career fair held for seniors at least. If you are wanting an internship you will need to be well into the accounting program.

the school you attend should have careers fairs and networking events for you to meet recruiters.

The best advice I can give you is to join Beta Alpha Psi. They are the ones who sponsor the networking events.
